Reading Signals from the Noise: Working Smartly with –Omics to Inform Clinical Decision Making
13:00 – 16:00
With advanced sequencing and analysis technologies, a vast amount of data is being generated to understand the interactions between microbiota and cancer immunity. This interactive workshop will give you the opportunity to understand:
- Sampling logistics for sequencing purposes – what samples are needed? How can we store samples? How to handle samples and what is the best method of transporting them?
- What layers of data can be yielded by different types of sequencing approaches in the context of cancer patient biopsies?
- How to integrate these data with bioinformatics, other –omics approaches and clinical data to make better clinical decisions
